thing I have ever had to do in my life. After living in the house for 38
years and not discarding much, there was a lot to do. I was drained

" Tim Miller fundamentally changed the way we constructed our auction and
was instrumental in helping us double the profitability of our annual event.
"Our school’s annual live/silent auction is our single largest fundraiser and
the proceeds are allocated annually to cover extra-ordinary expenses for our
60+ year old Catholic school. The live auction portion of our program had become
a bit stale. We were constantly losing bidders from the crowd and we saw very little
“friendly competition” at the event. Tim changed that. The live auction has become an
event unto itself. Parents want to be engaged in the competition that Tim creates,
and the results speak for themselves.
We engaged Tim for the first time as the auctioneer
for our 2003 event and he helped us increase the auction’s proceeds by
a startling 61%! In 2004 we saw a further 18% increase in total proceeds.
Tim was not available for our 2005 event, and our proceeds were impacted.
In 2007 (recently completed) we were able to get Tim back again, and the net
affect was a 10% year/year growth in proceeds. "
There is no question that Tim’s personality and engaging style have had a heavy
impact on the profitability of our event. Further, the “fun factor” has been
tremendously improved. During the year, we regularly have parents asking us
“Is Tim the Crazy Auctioneer going to be back this year?”
